OCT has shed a discerning light on conditions related to vitreo-retinal interface such as vitreo-macular traction and macular holes. Another significant use of OCT is in its ability to enhance long follow ups of various retinal conditions in a quantitative and non -invasive manner. OCT images contain much information on the retina structure and have an important role in the evaluation of the disease progression and the response to therapy.
